Casino M8trix is a cardroom located at 360 South Saratoga Avenue in San Jose, California. The casino was originally founded in 1946 as Garden City Casino and operated as such up until 2012 when it became Casino M8trix. An imposing structure for a Cali cardroom, the casino stands 8 stories tall. It holds one of 15 cardroom licenses in San Jose and no more are likely to be issued.

The area in play is actually only about 35,000 square feet and holds 14 poker tables along with 33 felts serving up Cali card games like Baccarat Gold,  Pure 21.5 Blackjack, Double Hand Poker aka Pai Gow Poker, three card poker, Ultimate Texas Hold'em, Pai Gow tiles and casino war along with Crazy 4 poker, Pure Spanish 21.5, Blackjack Switch and War Blackjack. No worries if the unique titles seem peculiar, that's California card games with slightly different rules as the deck is passed player to player or uses a designated stand-in as house-banked games just don't fly with the gaming commission.

Casino M8trix also features five eateries and bar/lounges including the Japanese-inspired restaurant Michi, which provides cuisine to the entire casino floor 24/7. Planning a special event or a meeting? The fifth and sixth floors of the eight-story building are VIP lounges and two floors of flexible meeting and event space.

Monday, Tuesday and Sunday Poker Tournaments are on at Casino M8trix. 60 players max, with 10 alternates. Registration is open around the clock.

$300 buy-in on Sundays with $5,000 first prize. Chips stack is $10k, game starts at 5pm.

$200 buy-in on Mondays with $5,000 first prize. $9k in starter chips and a first place prize of $3,200, game starts at 7pm

$160 buy-in on Tuesdays with $2,700 first prize starting stack is 8k , game starts at 7pm

Casino M8trix also runs three to five tables of $10/$25 no limit hold’em with a $1,000 minimum, no max buy-in on Wednesday and Friday afternoons starting at 1pm.

Lotus Café

Lotus Café is the place to seek out your first, or return again and again for an authentic Vietnamese bánh mì sandwich with a twist or any of their other signature sandwiches or freshly baked pastries. Michi

Open daily from 11am to 3am, Michi at M8trix features Japanese cuisine and serves everything from fish to bento-boxes to traditional sushi. Guests can order cuisine from Michi from anywhere on the casino floor, at the sushi bar or inside of the main dining room.

Epic Bar

Not your typical casino club watering hole, the Epic Bar is located in the heart of Casino M8trix and offers a perfect mix of gathering spot and source for finely crafted cocktails and the indulgences that go along. There is an extensive appetizer and comprehensive dining menu so you don't need to leave the center of the action. VIP bottle service is available as are reserved tables.

Parallel Lounge

Open daily from 1pm to 3am, the Parallel Lounge at M8trix offers a changing selection of small plates and tasting flights of wine and beer.

Event Tower

Located on the fifth and sixth floors of Casino M8trix’s eight-story building, are state-of-the-art private VIP entertainment lounges, and two floors of flexible meeting and banquet spaces that are perfectly suited for wedding receptions, birthday parties, anniversaries, and corporate events. Each of the floors can accommodate as many as 150 people and overlook Silicon Valley.
