Cactus Pete's has been a staple in Jackpot, Nevada since 1956, serving Northern Nevada and Southern Idaho with gaming and entertainment excitement. It is generally accepted that when "Cactus Pete" Piersanti moved his slot machine operations across the border when gambling became illegal in Idaho in 1954, the town was founded. Owned by Gaming and Leisure Properties and operated by Penn Entertainment, this resort casino includes a 3-star, 296-room hotel tower with three restaurants and two bar/lounges. Other property amenities include an outdoor swimming pool & hot tub, salon, arcade/game room, gift shop, general store, meeting and event space, including the 4,000 seat amphitheater and gala showroom. 

There is also a golf pro shop and a nearby 18-hole, par 72 championship golf course and just steps from the casino a full-featured desert-oasis RV Park with all of the amenities.

The property has only improved over time. In 1991, the gaming facility completed a $22 million expansion, including a 10-story hotel tower, restaurants and an Olympic-sized swimming pool. Visitors will also find a 26,000-square-foot casino floor with a race and sports book, keno lounge, around 500 slot and video poker machines, and a range of table games.

36 Steak & Seafood restaurant offers northern Nevada a fine-dining experience one would only expect “back East”, or perhaps on the West Coast. If your event still requires more space, the 1,155 sq ft foyer is the perfect space for small receptions during cocktail hour.
