The Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma closed their Border Town Casino & Bingo center in 2012 when they opened the new Indigo Sky Casino nearby. In September of 2014 they announced that remodeling would be completed by early February 2015 (later postponed until April 2) and a new Bordertown Casino and Arena would re-open in the same building at 130 North Oneida Street in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. The new casino with about 600 gaming machines will have a country and western/rodeo theme with a chuck wagon restaurant, the largest dance floor in the area, and a sawdust floor bull arena.
