The casino covers 27,000 square feet and houses more than 800 gaming machines including slots, video poker, video keno, and electronic blackjack and roulette tables. The no-alcohol venue which includes a 24 hour eatery, opened on November 11, 2010 with grand opening ceremonies attended by "Mr. Las Vegas" himself, Wayne Newton.

Bok Homa (which means 'red creek' in Choctaw) joins two other casinos owned and managed by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians - Silver Star Casino (1994) and Golden Moon Casino (2002) which are located at the Pearl River Resort in Philadelphia, Mississippi.
